A native Kansas Citian, Joe Scardino, grew up surrounded by sports, whether it was playing in a variety of leagues or going to Municipal Stadium to root for his favorite A’s or Chiefs. He was always fascinated by the colors and shapes that were a part of each event. His early teens brought the realization that he was meant to and wanted to become an artist. This meant focusing his energy on all the art classes he could take as well as sitting at a drafting table in his basement practicing, practicing, practicing.
Joe’s art education continued when he attended the University of Central Missouri receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in, well, Art! Joe has immersed his life surrounded by art, including a 40+ year graphics career with a leading manufacturer of promotional products. He still attends all types of sporting events, especially his beloved Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium, with family and friends as he continues to evolve creatively. Joe lives in Olathe with his wife and son.
